Question for the Adventure folk
Do you have to have an ADV bike to be an ADV rider?
Cuz I like riding even when the weather/roads aren't agreeable

IMHO, any ride on any bike can be an adventure. It is what you make of it

Swift Run Gap.
No, you cannot be an Adventure Rider unless you own an adventure bike and the bylaws are about to change that said adventure bike must be the BMW GS Adventure. |

naw, ride a Big Wheel if you want. Its the Spirit of Advrider that counts. Make every ride count. Live life to the full (while you still have good health). Enjoy the humor in the little things (and others). Take lots of pics.

No way man! I ride my hayabusa all over taskers gap, hatfield mcoy, and tower city.
I jump whoops, berms, and can almost land a back flip. I also have paddle tires for sand racing. But yeah, sportbike tires do not do anything in snow. I didn't seriously think anyone would believe someone would ride a hayabusa on a snow covered mountain. The snow on that road was only bad at the top. It was just really really cold :):
