November south island
Thinking of doing a South Island ride with some friends, probably mid November (not a great deal of flexibility with when we go). Is this a crap time weather wise, not factoring in the drought you are having at the moment

Depends how adventurous you want to get too, because there's usually still a lot of snow melt then with rivers running reasonably high.

what sort of wheels will you be on,as there are a few road /tracks i could point you in the right direction to in my area.
