After 7 years of dragging my feet with the same pretty lady I am losing my freedom and 1/2 of my assets on Sept. 6th of this year. My only responsibility for this "event" is planning the honeymoon. She is finished planing the wedding, rehearsal dinner, reception, etc. and I haven't gotten started yet.. Help me out!
I love anything with 2 wheels, currently race mx and hare scrambles. Have owned 2 CBRs, 2 VFRs, dual-sported XR650R, and 20+ different MX & off-road bikes. Would like to somehow involve bikes in the honeymoon. 6-7 years ago after college I danced aroud the UK on a rented R1 for a few days and had a blast. Any ideas of anywhere else in Europe or beyond that could be a good match for renting a decent 2-up bike and keeping the new bride happy for a week? Here is the catch... money is tight. We have that wedding to pay for and are currently building a house. $2500 is the target max. Is this going to be possible? Thanks in advance for any help! Paul |

I'll ask the obvious question first: How does SHE feel about bikes/riding??

If you like to dive this place (Walker's Cay) used to be pretty good -- it was about 10 min by boat to the dive area. Good dive staff. Got to dive with the sharks. No motorcycles though.
Its close by (northernmost island in the Abaco's) about 90 miles off the coast of Florida. Charter a boat or plane to get there. They used to run their own plane, a 1943 flying boat! Don't know if they still do. Its a small island -- no automobiles, just a couple of golf carts; you can walk from one end to the other in a few minutes at most. Back when I still had my airplane, extra money and a girl friend we used to go there to escape our cares. It was a great get away with lots of dive time and many convivial folks about.
