Be honest. I can take it. Would a slight riser, and a small wind screen ruin it? Anybody "toured" on it? I'm a yellow North Face duffel/bungie cord kind of guy. Sure do like the look of it though.

I did 6600 miles cross country and back on a 750 Monster in 2001. Skip the risers, get clip-ons, lay down on your tank bag.

My brother just got one and it is a very small bike. Seem impracticle in almost every sense. Cant figure why anyone would even want one. The seat angle looks like a ball buster and if you are a northface/bungie type of guy why would you buy that bike. Sorry, not a big fan of that bioke at all. Having said all that, ride the piss out of it and have fun!

It's a cool little bike, and when I rode it I was wondering how it would do as a light tourer as well.

Unfortunately, I think that it wouldn't really do the job, as cool as it is. I thought it was lacking in oomph at interstate speeds in the top gears, but maybe I just wasn't goosing it at that point. Luggage would be awkward, and even a small windscreen won't have much protection.

But if it is what you want to do, you could make it work (so long as you don't bitch about it later ). More power to you for seriously considering it!

I had a 750 Monster, bought another set of bar clamps, put one set on upside down and clamped with other(takes longer bolts too), added a ducati flyscreen and alaskan sheepskin butt pad and hit the road. Wasn't too bad, the only gripe I had was the seat to peg distance was too short for me. Had lots of fun though. Also a good conversation starter.

Interesting...

Also looking at the GT 1000. I have seen these with a screen. Ducati make one just for it. Toss on luggage, and it might be a better way to go? The extra displacement might make it a better mile gobbler? Thanks
