WMRS July 31 - Aug 3 Socal Riders

Just thought of starting a thread here for us socal riders who plan on attending. We can coordinate our plans and dates hoping to find a riding buddy on our way up there. Either riding, trucking, or trailering, it's always fun and good idea if we can share company.

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=343294

I plan to leave on Friday noon Aug 1st. Thinking of riding the GS and prefer to ride along with other big bikes.

Great

Great idea. Dyvking and I are heading up dragging the bikes, but not sure about departure time yet. You know, now that I think about it, if we put the bikes on a trailer that might be easier on them.

Danny, when are you going out? Bob (AnySunday) & I will be trailing our bikes (950SE & my 12GSA) out on Thursday.

Bring your big pig so you can carry your trailside coffee making equipment....

You bring the coffee, we'll bring the picnick tables, er...fire wood .

Question

The mole is seriously considering this ride....however, will the trustworthy KLX 250s be ok on a ride like this?

I guess I should have said i would trailer the bike up there and then ride !

If you're trailering, there are guys who will be interested to share the ride and gas. Speak up quick guys while there's still a chance!

Guys, please keep in mind the original intent of this thread....

This ride is about WMRS and how to get there
Unless we have known each other well ....continue the bashing

Thanks

Joel
