FS: V-Strom Frame guards, triple-clamp guards and New and Improved Headlight masks
SpeedStar V-Strom frame guards, triple-clamp guards, New and improved Headlight masks and fork guards.
I have added these tank guards to my V-Strom product offering. They are sized perfectly to the rear tank area just above the seat. Same material as the masks. They are $20 delivered. They go on very easily and can be removed later if needed. My Paypal and email is: drcroix@aol.com Thanks for the support. ![]() ![]() I first made these for my bike because I was concerned about scratching the frame by the footpeg area on my black '05 Strom so I designed and cut these protectors on my Plotter table at work. I was really pleased with how it turned out and thought other owners may be interested in them too. After people here on the forum got the frame guards, I had requests for a triple-clamp protector and lower fork guards as well and added them to the offering. Then came the Headlight masks. What is next? Let me know if you want something custom. The material is 12mil thick 3M protective film, available in black or Carbon fiber look or dark tint as used in the headlight masks. If you would like any of these, please email me at: drcroix@aol.com I accept Paypal or personal check. If paying by Paypal, the account is: drcroix@aol.com Check can be mailed to: Devin Ridgeway The frame guards are: $20.00 in carbon fiber look or black. I also have a larger version that covers the lower frame area and extends up and over the bend and extends up to the recessed area on the frame. These larger ones will be $25 in black. Headlight masks are: $25 in headlight specific dark tint for the four piece kit The triple-clamp protectors are: $15.00 in carbon fiber look or black. The 650 and 1000 have different triple-clamps so I need to know which you have and what color you want. The lower fork guards are: $12.00 in black. If you want all four parts or some combination of them, I will discount the price. Lets talk. These are delivered prices in the states. Overseas shipments may be a few dollars more for shipping. Thanks, Devin Here are the Carbon Fiber look frame guards ![]() Here are the black frame guards ![]() Headlight masks: There are four pieces, two large ones for the top and two small strips for the bottom. These will be made in a new headlight specific dark tint vinyl material and go on very easy and hold up great. ![]() Here are the triple-clamp guards for the 650 and 1000. The first one on the bike is an older pattern. The new pattern is the smaller print. ![]() Here are the Lower Fork protectors

I just bought a set of the headlight masks and the triple clamp protector. I really like the way the masks change the bike. It just seems so much less surprised now! I always thought that the silly stretched headlights made the bike look all out of proportion. Lots more dignified now. The masks are of an opaque material, really heavy duty. I have put lots of decals on before and have never seen adhesive like this, I suspect that they are not coming off on their own! The fit was great, but you really need to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS that Devin sends with the masks. He knows whereof he speaks.
![]() ![]() The triple clamp protector fits very nicely too and looks good. I have to get the frame guards, as me boots are scuffing the frame a bit.

got your frame, fork & 3 clamp protectors which i love.
question about the headlight mask. does it cut out any light output? is the material completely dark (like your black guards) or partial like your pics?

Hi Bill, The headlight masks are all black now. They do not block any light output as they are above the lense on the top area that extends up and out. I also incude a small strip for the bottom portion that you may or maynot choose to use. This would bloack a small amount of light. I have it on mine and have not noticed any difference from before without it.
Let me know if you have any other questions or would like to try a pair. Thanks again! Devin

I can report that after a summer of riding, the headlight masks look the same as the day I put them on. No peeling, no bubbling. Bike still looks great.
The only bad thing.....summer's about over.
