Lunchy-Times, coming up! I've had a really good chicken parsmasian kind of pizza there (and I'll say it: good chicken pizza is a pretty unusual thing, I generally steer clear). The grilled tuna sandwich was good too.

wish I could make it
by the time I made it there, I would have to turn back around and head back to work. I might see if I can a few extra minutes from the boss.

If only there were back roads between Apex and Durham... but living on 55, I know that such things are not as plentiful as they once were.

Long Way Down at Brier Creek tomorrow
Hey Anders and whomever else made it out. I caught wind of the get together too late today. Let's try again sometime. I have a few KTM buddies in the RTP area that I DS and offroad with and would be good to catch up sometime.
On another note...tomorrow night a few of us are going to catch the flick "A Long Way Down" at Brier Creek theater at 7:30. It has Ewan McGregor and his buddy Charlie Borwin riding GS's from Scotland to S. Africa. We may go to Carolina Ale House at Brier Creek prior to get some food/inspiration. see below for link to theatre showings per zip code. http://www.fathomevents.com/details....=Long_Way_Down This site shows what the show/movie is about: http://longwaydown.com/ |

Let's say Episode 2 will be at the same place as Episode 1 for simplicity. See you guys at "A Gracious Plenty" Wednesday 8/6 at 11:30 am. :)
Cheers, Anders!

Fine by me!
Yup, we picked up the Baja... was that your WRX in there for AC work too? Apparently the SAME hose failed as on Amy's Baja's AC. See everyone tomorrow! Anders

If coming from Lillington I think I would do this.
Run up 401 to Fuquay Varina, Take 55 north to Durham (around Holly Springs, through Apex). Once coming into Durham you cross 54, then go under I-40 staying on 55 and in about 1 1/2 mile , a larger intersection with Cornwallis, (gas stations around etc), Go right on Cornwallis , cross tracks 100 yds, A Gracious Plenty 100 yds on left. Look forward to seeing you there. NCS

If I'm lucky I'll be at the DMV at lunch today.
Bike is failing inspection for various reasons. I think I got it all sorted out last night. Crossing my fingers that I can get the bike to the shop without something falling off, breaking or deciding not to work when I get there. |
