SA bike servicing

Is there anyplace to get a bike serviced (if necessary) at the following places, in between or close-by?

Birdsville to Coober Pedy, Ceduna,
Coober Pedy to Oodnadatta/Mt Dare

I'm thinking that I'll need a tyre change and would prefer not to carry one, crap may fall off and with my luck, the rubber may lose contact with the road, and not in a good way

cheers

No doubt I'll be corrected if wrong..........
But I don't think there's much in the areas you're talking about.
The only possiblity may be Coober Pedy.
Although whatsisname Plate at the Oodnadatta Roadhouse may be able to help with basic mechanical repairs.
I've been lucky enough not to have to worry about it in the times I've been through.

Tony thanks, I figured as much.

I haven't got a big place on my planned route until 7500k of hard slog so I thought I would look for a pit spot if needed.

I think the least out of my route would either be Port Augusta (286k out of the way) which is about mid point or Alice which is a fair wack further out of my way.

kipo's in Pt. Augusta and would know who's worth visiting, and if it's at the right time, I might even be tempted to come up and say g'day
If you venture as far as Alice Springs, see Wayne Woodberry at Race Motorcycles. Can't go wrong there. Both still a fair way out of the way, though.
In most of the country you're going through, you can't even buy chain lube! But buy me a beer and I'll bring a can up to you somewhere.
Any excuse............

I may take you up on that Tony.

A bit of local knowledge here, I have allowed 3 days to do Coober Pedy/Emu/Maralinga/Ceduna and two days to do Cedune/Glendambo via Googs.

Are those times reasonable?

ya mate you could do googs in one but more fun in two, overnite somewhere on the track then on to glendambo no worries.3 days from coober to ceduna should be ok,not sure of the distance but can do maralinga to ceduna easy in 4wd in a day.

Beauty, I'll give them a bell. That would be a terrible shame wouldn't it, having to take the day off to drink beer, look at the sea and eat oysters while some bloke fits tyres and gives the bike a service.
