F800GS aftermarket exhaust

So anybody dropped the coin to get an aftermarket exhaust for the new F800GS? The dealer had a GS with a Remus hexacone slip on and pulled it out for me to hear. Wow! You want a deeper, meaner growl..... I almost dropped 8 bills right then and there.

Aftermarket Exhaust

Yes, please! I JUST got my new 800 GS and am absolutely in love right now (it sleeps in my room at the foot of my bed). So now I've got farkle-itis. Exhaust is pretty high on my list. I put Remus on my R1150R and it was the best sounding system I could find back in '03. I wouldn't have a problem getting another Remus, but should I be looking at Akra? Remus is a little cheaper, but sound is where it's at for me. Anyone heard the two side by side?
P.S. Is it wierd that I kind of enjoy the stock exhaust? Just a tiny rumble with stealthy-quiet cruising? I can't believe I'm saying this.

Never out of the box/just decided to not use it. If it doesn't sell, I'll install it in a month or so. How are the keys these days?

F800GS Hand protection issue

I'm lovin this 800GS, had a Remus for the '03 1150GS, but I like the stock exhaust note on the 800. Very cool new ride!!! Can't wait for summer in Idaho!!!
BMW large handguards with spoiler still not enough protection in cold. Even with grip heaters on high!
Anyone know if touratech or anyone makes bigger plastic parts that will work with the BMW metal hand guards???

Alrightie then back to exhausts.

Any more feedback on the Holeshot? I'm considering one and was looking for any comments from the owners.

Thumb Aftermarket exaust

The two brothers M-2 slip on exaust for the F800 is great. The P1 power tip is a must. It restores back pressure lost by having the straight through exhaust, plus it has a great note. It costs $399.00 from http://www.newenoughhp.com/exhaust_i...n_exhaust.html

+1 on the Beowulf muffler

Just got mine and it's the best deal I could ever imagine on an aftermarket exhaust. Looks great, sounds great, has a lifetime warranty, and costs 1/3 to 1/2 of most anything else I've looked at. It actually got to me in North Carolina 3 business days from when they shipped it from the U.K. and cost a total inc. shipping of US$280.00! What's not to like?
