Just opened the boxes and started the baseline process. Nice pieces. Still waiting on cables so as soon as I get them and have a chance to install them I will update the install detail processes

Looks like a very sweet set up, but I have a question. What made you choose the 39's instead of the 41's.

couple reasons:

I don't really need more peak HP, so higher intake velocities are better for improved response, greater potential for flatter torque curve and also lower possibility of bogging from too quickly opening the throttle.

At this point these are all theory. I am helping get a 41mm pair setup and installed on a SE in Cali. We are going to be trying to do a comparison of riding/running experience when we are completed. I am waiting on my cables and the SE is not running correctly yet so we still have a ways to go.

The 41's are a big mistake on the SE. Leave 'em for the SM's...
