Best Cheap 150cc Scooter
OK don't yell at me, I did try and search.
![]() Long time ADVer but probably the first time posting in the super scooter forum. I have lots of bikes but am thinking about getting a scooter just to buzz around town on. I think it would need to be at least a 150cc to do the job for me. I am seeing at lots of places everything on sale for $1199 delivered to your door. For $1200 it might be worth giving something like this a try. What I have seen that looks OK to me, considering that they are probably Chinese junk. ![]() Velocity MP150-08 Roketa MC-04 FIJI or MC16 Capri or MC17 Sicily MOTOBRAVO-PAPARAZZI AVANTI-EPSILON Roketa MC-03-TAHITI Everything seems to come with a 12 month warranty and proper MSO paperwork. Are any of these good, Bad, Just Junk, Really actually worth $1200 ![]() So do your best and educate this old fool. ![]() Cheers. Marc

Dont do it. I wouldnt mess with any of that Chineese stuff TBH.
I would search for a older name brand scoot in the cc range you want so that if something breaks youll be able to get parts for it. Ive worked in a dealership before and had nothing but bad luck working on Chineese stuff and trying to obtain parts. Quality can vairy but I still wouldnt go down that road. Find yourself something decent. Good Luck

If you have the mechanical aptitude to service and repair it, keep checking craigslist for a non-running 150cc China scooter. Online parts resources are abundant . . Google or search eBay for gy6 or 157qmj. Torn carb diaphragms, or defective ignition coils, CDI modules, and stators are among the usual suspects. A local Pep Boys may offer a 150cc with both front and rear disc brakes. Ordering online enhances the calculated risk. |

Dont worry about these search asshats lomax. I appreciate your question, and its something i've wondered myself. A few of the members here are really happy with their rocketa 250cc scooters. I know you mentioned a 150cc. One of the reasons i like the 150cc's is the size, they look smaller and you can almost get away with more things.

A place called Dirt Cheap ATV's in Milan, IN has been advertising the Roketa 150 Fiji's for $799 plus tax in the local ad paper for about a month. What a deal!! These are just like the one a buddy paid around $1200 for delivered from eBay. Compared to a Jap scoot I'd call it at least 80% as good and his has proven to be pretty reliable after a summer of riding. There's some cheese on it but overall for the money it's a helluva deal.
