2009 Pine Barrens 300/500

Hey: I'm proud to announce the 2009 Pine Barrens Adventure Ride, sanctioned this year by the Ocean County Competition Riders. It was a tough decision to move the event to another club, but I think Rocky Spano and his crew will make this years PB Adv ride the best ever. They already have the ECEA Enduro of the Year, 7 times. The Scrub Pine Enduro, this year's date is March 22.

Most of the details are still being worked out, like the distance, maybe 300, maybe 500, or somewhere in between.

As far as the CC limit from last year, most likely we will keep the event as an over 500 cc event again. Sorry to those who don't agree , but last years event worked out great.

Hey: The funny thing is, if you reride the PB300 route form last year this spring, the sand won't be as deep, and there will be a lot less of it. When we laid out last years run, and when I rode the event it self, it was like two different events. After a dry summer and fall the dirt turns into sand.

The first PB300 was held in April and the biggest issue was deep puddles.

I tried to find more pic's from that event, but couldn't. Anyway, go ride the route this spring. You'll love it.

if you really want to have some fun ride it today we got about 3 to 5 inches of the white stuff and it really is not that cold out i might sneek out to do about 10 miles or so down around atison just for fun
