Craig's Thread
These pop up all the time. Why not stick them all in the same place??
- I'm talking about individual threads linking to CL finds. Maybe some guidelines. 1. Location, location, location. 2. Make, model + price. *3* I really would appreciate linking to hysterical CL posts. I don't think anything makes me laugh more than when someone can't spell ["helmut" gets me every time ], or thinks their yamaha xj650 is worth $3500 and tells you why.

nice
I saw an ad the other day where a hispanic gentleman (or so I assumed from some of the phonetic misspelling) claimed that he had a nice running sv650 with an oil lake.....

Those last two are some of the worst looking bikes I've ever seen. They should be ashamed of themselves

I can't find no helments
This one is a tribute to the spirit of post #3 in this thread:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcy/2233158045.html Clearly, we on the left coast are likewise enamored with helments. Not my ad but I can empathize. |

1977 BMW r100s - $3500 (Redmond/Kirkland) Reply to:sale-w26ct-1188888906@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] Date: 2009-05-25, 10:00PM PDT This is a good bike, I have enjoyed it for two years. Now I want something different, so it's up for sale. It has been rebuilt before I bought it, I have photos showing the rebuilt, the frame was stripped and powder coated. The paint is chemion turns Purple to Green, a couple of nicks on the top of the gas tank where the handle bars hit. Also I took a fall a little while back and cracked the frearing. The motor has the duel-spark plug heads and electronic ignition, so no fouled plugs. The exhaust pipes are stainless steel JAMA's. I have the Clymer and a couple of other books that go with it.
