Are my legs just too long?

I've got an issue, I'm 6'4 with a 34" inseam, but not really big enough to wear size huge pants. I have a pair of alpinestars st-5 drystar pants which I really like, but when I'm on the bike they ride up to about 6" above my ankle joint. I'd ideally like them to be longer and stay down lower when I'm riding.

Is this something I just have to deal with and get used to or are these shorter than normal? Any suggestions for other pants that may fit longer for the size XL (34" waist).

Ok, smartass time over. Checkout the following article. I have the same issue with a 32 - 33" inseam.

"The AirTek pants are sold in exact waist sizes, from 28-34 for women and 30 to 42 for men. The leg length, regardless of the waist size, is 36" (91.5 cm). The legs are designed to be hemmed to length by the owner. "

The only stuff I can find that offers a 'tall' size is firstgear. What I really need is like a 34" waist "tall" size. The Klim stuff looks nice, just not tall enough.

The good news is the alpinestar stuff is really nice and other than cold shins I'm fine with it for now (and cold weather use).

Joe Rocket is Tall in name only: tallest they sell is 34", which won't help OP.

What size did you have on the Drystars? I was looking at them but I am 6'6" so you have me reconsidering.

How big are they around the ankles. Will they fit over bigger motocross boots or are they pretty tight?

I've got XL's. I'm about 210#, vary from 190-210 depending on how much beer I've been drinking and how much I run. I can fit jeans under these but they're pretty tight if I do.

I don't have MX boots yet but I think they would fit. They have a zip/velcro at hte bottom that opens wide but will be tight once they're zipped.

Just thought I woould throw in that the Olympia Pants fit me rather well, at 6-5 and 36" waist. They do not fit very well over MX boots though.

My wifes legs are long also

we got her the Joe Rocket women's Alter Ego pants. They have a snap arrangement on the cuff thaty allows you to adjust the length. The knee armor could be a bit lower but its OK. On my Buell Ulysses it sits properly but on the E-Glide we toured on in September it wanted to ride up a bit.

New Enough is the only place to buy MC apparel for us, every piece we own came from them. From helmets to boots....

I'm glad that I stumbled on this thread. I have been wondering where to find riding gear that might fit me. I have a hard enough time finding regular jeans. I'm a touch under 6'10", tip the scales at 295-305lbs 40"waist 36" inseam. I now have some good leads on where to find gear, I still don't know how easy it will be to find, but thanks for the info.

First Gear large/tall size fits me well. I have a 34" inseam, too, and am 6'2".
