Interesting CL find--Yamaha Triple
Usually, when you see "bobber" or or "cafe" on Craigslist, or "chopper" and it's NOT some overwrought overpriced stupidly stretched & painted checkbook custom with a S&S motor, it's worth a look JUST BECAUSE THESE BIKES ARE ALMOST ALWAYS SO FOOKIN' UGLY they're funny!
Well, THIS one, IMHO, is quite unusual, and in an excellent way. I'm not into choppers, but I'd ride this one (but I wouldn't BUY it).
Well, MAYBE, if one really wanted to effect the 'bad boy" look, he'd have to repaint it, but I do have a turquois GSPD.......

Built by Syco Cycle Works of Butte, Montana. Custom single down tube frame, with a 1980 Kawasaki neck because of the tapered roller bearings. Since that is where the i.d number is, it titles as a 1980 Kawasaki, so no problems getting title or insurance. This was the owners personal bike. He has built over 20 of these frames. The engine is a new factory crate XS750 Yamaha Triple. He bought 7 of these from a dealer in Idaho that was going out of buisiness and put them in some of his builds. This one has less than 500 miles on it. It is kick and electric start, and with such small pistons, it is an easy kick start. It is a shaft drive (rear wheel and shaft drive from a V-MAX) and the front wheel is from a 750 Yamaha. The tank appears to be from a 60's Honda, but we have also speculated that it is from a BSA. No real knowledge here. I changed a ton of things on this bike to make it more rideable including forward controls, springer seat, better bars, complete new exhaust system, lights, etc. etc. Scary fast (100 hp in a 320 lb. bike). See at the Swap Meet, PIR lower level at the end of the drag strip (first turn) space 1387. Possible trade for a pickup or economy car of equal value. 503-704-0123

I like the "sta-hot luggage rack" it'll keep your KFC warm while you're on the road
Oh, that's definitely a CB200 tank- and it looks awful

I dig it
It may not be the best looking bike around, but kudos for trying something different. The hard tail shaft drive, the 3 into 4 into 2 exhaust and a rack . At least you won't pull up next to another one at bike night .
