Richmond VA shop

I've a friend in Richmond that's just starting to ride. Anybody know a good place for him to see a reasonable selection of gear and helmets?

Thanks

Velocity, on Boulevard, has a decent selection of gear, and a nice variety of motorcycles to look at.

sprockets on broad

They are a gear only shop owned by Honda House. Their selection isn't bad but not as good as in the past. The staff there are really good about helping customers find helmets that fit and they have an OK selection of jackets, gloves and helmets. Nobody really carries pants in their stock.

Ultimate cycle on Midlo has some gear, mostly Icon gear.

Burchams - I think they might of changed names has a small selection of stuff in their
showroom too.
R&S cycles on Mechanicsville turnpike also hasa small selection of gear.

Those are the only places I've been to locally. I usually go to sprockets first. They are beside the walgreens on Broad at Hungary Rd.

+1

Velocity has Olympia gear, which I prefer. Adrian is great to work with.

Ultimate is also good. Tthe folks there are really nice and helpful. I buy lots of stuff from them for work. They can usually come down a bit on price if you haggle.

YMMV
