Off-road day in Montenegro

Off-road weekend in Montenegro, near Niksic. We tried to reached Kapetanovo Lake

But the snow(still) was problem… so we had to satisfy with just ride *that wasn’t difficult J

We are ready to go!!!

After 18km of rocks we’ve reached mountain home… what a place, pure nirvana… natural spring… ideal for rest and to dry socks

Visited your country last year. Perhaps one of the most beautiful places of, at least, this part of Europe. Not to mention about Niksic beer (glad we have the same tastes as i see from your pictures). Whenever i have time i go to Serbia to buy the famous "Niksicko pivo".
If you ever decide to visit Romania give me a sign and i will gladly help with all the advices you need.

I might take you up on the offer; I have a family base in Hvar and someday I'll have to take the ferry in Sucuraj and explore the southern Balkans.

I was riding thru Montenegro and even Niksic in 2006 on my way down to Greece. I really liked the small mountain roads. Seems to be a great place for offroad riding.

We are on 4 ktm 950/990 and go through Crna-Gora on the way to Albania on the 11 of sebtember. We go from Krstac to Koasin to Plav. Is that good terrain for offroad?

from Krstac on Montenegrian border?
from Krstac you can go to Kolasin over Niksic, but I recomend you Krstac, Niksic, Pluzine, Trsa, Zabljak, Mojkovac, Kolasin it's tarmac...
and from Kolasin to Plav you can go off-road...
