F800 problems?

Is it me or does the F800 just seem to have a lot of problems/issues?

Maybe it's new model-itis, maybe F800 onwers are overly abusive, or just maybe BMW didn't design enough safelty factor into the bike but it seems that 80% of the threads around here are about F800 problems.

Just curious..........

Ugh.

How about a search prior to posting up a new thread? This has been addressed / discussed ad nauseam.

For every F800GS owner who's had an issue there are 10 others with none.

Done and done.

My guess is that the ratio is more like 100:1. But this is the Internets.

Yeah, every bike has it's fair share of problems. Look at the KLR's infamous doohickey. That thing's been known to rip apart engine internals. The fact is this: do a search in Google for any "bike name" and "problems" or "issues" and you'll find just as many issues.

The only problem, is that us ,F800 riders, spend way to much time on the internet.

Any 1 in a million problem get's discussed by hundreds and viewed by thousands.
