I've been out of the state for a bit. I have a golf tournament Saturday, but am looking for a long ride Sunday.

What's the hell is going on this weekend in the Old Dominion?

it's usually all wrapped up by noon Sunday. there will be a bunch of Hogs on the road over there. Morton's was there last year. I don't see 'em on the sponser page.

Got a bunch of 650 parts coming in the mail from Hammersly and am thinking about wrenching on that:

1. New front springs
2. New Front gaiters
3. touratech mini blinkers (don't ask why)
4. Jesse replacement latching cam
5. Shift lever (see 3 above)
6. TT chain guard (get rid of that hideous black protrusion)

Got to run to Atlanta to get the wife a new cage.. (anyone need 1989 Jeep Cherokee...)

And on top of that, i had a bit o minor surgery today. Got a walnut sized Lypoma removed from my back. It had been bothering me for a few years, and was pressing on my spine. Ride and be in pain for a few days. Not good when your 27...

So I'm out for this weekend, but the next one works for me..
(providing I find a damn O-ring)..

Got a line on a nice cheap 1991 Maxima 5-spd.. goint ot ru n this one in a few weeks hopefully after i fix the window regulators.

Picking up a 1996 Passat TDI Wagon for the wife. 105k miles, BB value. This will allow the great Jeep sale (GJS) to proceed. Better car (our secong TDI), better milage (45 vs 16 mpg) allowing for lessing bitching (due to me working on POS Jeep, and less money for fuel) and more motorcycles.. (and irejoiced... MSF course and DRZ-400 for wifey..

I'll have to double check the O-ring part number and let him know in the morning.. Right now it's too much beer and preScriptions...
