how to get a sponsor
You have some race results that are wins or consistently in the top 5.You
put a resume/ color brochure with some pictures together with your accomplishments and your objectives. You plan to race a series that will, provided by your finishes, will net you a points championship or a couple of wins. You are footing 90% of the expenses at this level, you want gas and tire money. You will spend way more than you will receive in sponsor money, race winnings, whatever. The tide turns when you get OFFERS.For now,the ETC. column in Cycle News announces companies who are accepting rider resumes. Be aware of the contingency sponsors for the series you are competing in.They seem to be the first to notice your efforts.Read Cycle News, see what sponsors are out there now sponsoring other riders in your series. You got to have something to put on that resume before you can attract anyone.
