Sounds like an oxymoron to me. If you ride, you are not old!!!!!!!

Well, I'm 56 now, have three motorcycles and am riding more than ever. Started riding at eight years old.

Sounds good . Maybe its time to slow down when you can't get your leg over the bike., but there is always a curb or stump around... :0) Man I must be getting screwed up coming up with this stuff. I think its the Alaska winter and the bike's in the garage. Not into Studs. Got a nice FM music station on 24 hours a day as the V Strom gets lonely..

61 here & age is not an issue....yet. I have several friends older than me who are still riding. One guy who is 83 and still riding his Electra Glide almost daily...he is an old racer/motorhead & he just flogs the shit out of that thing.

older folks

A threat jumpstart.. Summer is getting closer, how many older rider's are putting stuff together for an alaskan trip this summer ( 2010).. You noticed it was gittin older not OLD. :0) Alaska is a great destination!!! , just give it enough time for the trip up and back and not turn it into a marathon. Advice from one that unwisely never listens to his own advice ( although if you can it's good advice):0). It will be a great trip however you do it ...

I am not sure ...... I know that the days start moving faster and the years start to blur a bit . but life is good and I consider myself very very fortunate..

I celebrated my 75th on 11/8. I got back in to riding after my wife passed away 4 years ago at the age of 61. In the past 3 1/2 years I have clocked just over 97,000 miles. If I ever get old I'll put the side car back on the little beemer, and take it from there.
