You might want to ask on the Thumpers forum.
There is a 690 thread running there. MAX

Doesn't surprise me to be honest, most people buy the 690 for it's offroad prowess. A center stand usually weighs a lot and reduces ground clearance.

maby...
yes many you are right
The weight thing i really don belive, just look at what stuff people put on their bikes, they looks more like an overloaded mule than a bike.i can spare a few cm ground clearance and if get a great C-stand. (690e is a joke for pure enduro if you look at the max steering radius) sorry for my crappy english, its not my 1st language. I didnt get any answer in the 690 thread, people are more interested in suspention mods and other stuff, thats just the way it is. I have seen som cool centerstands to other bikes, one was built like an extended bashplate when it was in up position. I really appreciate you took time to answer anyway. |

KTM 690e 2012 model center stand
Hey KTM 690 dudes! I have built a nice center stand for my 2012 690e. It came out real nice and folds up clean and is well built from DOM tubing. It just bolts on without removing any stock parts. I plan to make 10 more if anyone wants one let me know. Please e-mail: lostdogproducts@gmail.comYou can see it at www.lostdogproducts.com lostdogproducts screwed with this post 01-06-2013 at 08:30 PM |

I just got back from a 2 week work session, and Martin's Lost Dog center stand was waiting for me to install.
10 minutes later it was finished, pulling the spring being the hardest part. ![]() The underside shot where it mounts to the frame. ![]() I'm gonna take it out this weekend for some on road testing. This is gonna make tube changes out on the trail 100% easier. Thanks Lost Dog
