Badlands, Black Hills, Plains and Mountains

On Sept 1 I left KC heading to see Mount Rushmore for the first time. From there I had no set plans.

I visited Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and Kansas. I traveled 2900 miles and got home on Sept. 11.

Here is a short slide show of my trip. It will only take up 3:33 of your life.

Thank you. Many are from Nebraska. The first pic was in KS the next 6 were in NEB, including the wedding party in the horse drawn wagon (O'neall). The old wooden bridge and the next 3 pictures were in far western Neb.

Here is a map of where the pictures were taken. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/album...0253922625#map

Thank you Tallboy. That song played in my head the entire time I was out there.

I went in and looked at all the pictures of this trip. They are really amazing. It looked like a great trip. How do you get the map to show up with your pictures? I use Picasa for my pictures also.

Thank you.

I'm experimenting with a new site. Is shows the pictures and a map where they were taken. Let me know what you think.

Love the video. I recognize most of it as well. I know I am lucky to live in such a great place. Thank you Uncle Sam for bringing me here.
Riding into the Badlands at sunrise:

Same ride after an off road spill in the Badlands. Note, 2 missing panniers;-)

This was a little road between Mt. Rushmore and Hill City. I think it was nameless. Best kind!
