Try using a deep socket on the rubber dampers. You need to reach all the way up to get them, because they are divided, with rubber in the middle. You need to be able to reach all the way up against the bottom of the engine. I assume you got the old plate off already....

When I removed a friends original plate, the bolts came out of the oil pan
.Not to worry... I just used opposing wrenches and got the original bolts off. I don't recommend using heat, due to the rubber. Good luck .Cheers, S.

thanks for the help I got them off by just turning them until it snapped off. its just odd you have to pretty much twist the rubber 360 degrees. The whole time i was scared I would tear the rubber off but that wasn't the case. Thanks for the tips though

Same here, I couldn't believe that they just kept on going further and further before it budged at all. I was sure I was going to twist that rubber into breaking.
