Rallye navigation bracket photo thread

I am having my riding partner Cevin, a machinist, fab up a bracket using plans from a couple of sources including Tony Schatt's

and I thought It may serve us rally racers well to have a photo thread of navagation brackets... photos or links to photos or plans, wherevever they are posted for posterity and a guide for the noob.. So I will start with a photo from the 660 rally and will add my "banana" flavor as soon as it is finished.

Feel free and please add to the thread ... Michael

Looking good chaps

Here's mine, just finished adding the last bit of nav kit to it tonight, a Tony Schattat repeater.

Here's mine before the repeater was fitted....

Hey: great setup, do you have multiple sensors for the ICO's, or do you splice one?

thanks
Jack

Hi Jack,

Cheers! One magnet and two sensors - but you gotta make sure they pick up the magnet on the same arc if you get what I mean? Works well and they clock up in unison perfectly.

Had to drill an extra hole through the Brembo.

Is that the way you are typically routing the paper through the MD?, i.e. not using the upper top roller?

I see you have the ERTF-Repet installed using a Garmin 276c , how did you connect this , any complicated installation necessary ?

One option is to get the heading repeater built by fellow ADV inmate Schattat.

Here's his product: http://www.rallyenavigationsolutions.com/cr.html

He provides a cable that plugs right into a 276 and some other GPS units.

I believe this belongs here in this thread as I think it is quite ingenious. I cannot understand a word but what I do see is a flexible navigation bracket. It seems it would be quite stable and yet absorb crashes to some extent. @0:30
Any one have any further intel on this?
