bay area female dual sport riders - where are you?
the sheet iron 2011 was my first dual sport ride and I'm hooked! I am a female rider and wanting to get a group of women riders together for next sheet iron and any other fun dual sport adventure! I think we are few and far between so if you are out there and interested please contact me.

You’re hooked, huh?
I wonder if you might have better luck on the South Bay Riders forum finding other women that like what you like. The Forums name is http://www.southbayriders.com/forums/index.php

If your hooked on Dual Sport, try this out.
MUDluvR, You should check out the Wildwood 400. It's a 2 day Dual Sport ride much like the Sheetiron, but with about 400 less riders and dust. It stages in Wildwood, CA. just off Hwy 36, west of Red Bluff. The overnight stay is in Fortuna, they take your overnight bags to the Eel River Brewery, great food and beer. The ride is this weekend June 25th, 26th and you can sign up at the staging area, or online, www.ironmandualsport.com . Check out this you tube video I made of the ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UviBsJThHvc

I'm not a female rider, but in the 8+ years that I've been an SBR member, I've made some really good friends and done some really great rides. There's also a lot of woman-riders there who ride street, dirt, and everything in between. Give it a try!

wildwood 400
Wildwood 400 would be awesome but I "killed" my bike at sheet iron and it's still in the shop. Should be done by next week. Any mid-summer/fall ride suggestions? Something easy to navigate since I'm still learning and kinda don't have a group yet (BF and his friends wasn't a good mix so looking for a FUN riding group)
thanks for the suggestion!! |

You should fill out your profile. When I first began riding, I meet other riders at the riding area I was going too.
