well said, well said!
a certain type of precious introspection can only occur on a bike. without a doubt, it's an altar of peace, refuge and best of all, fun (the gs is especially good at the later). -sasha

You have put into words the feelings that sat heavy on my heart this morning when I was on my mind clearing ride. I must have gotten a piece of dust in my eyes, they clouded up as the windshield cleared.

Nice writing, Chopper. From the heart, too.

There are millions of people in Oz who are as touched - you write very well, chopperman, to capture feelings so well. It is morning here now and I think I will need a head clearing ride myself.
Take care of yourself, and others.....

I, too, got through the day with the help of an introspective ride. My quest for peace took me to the "Triple Divide" in Glacier Park. It seemed a symbolic place to spend a quiet moment. In theory, any tears shed there would reach the the Pacific Ocean, Hudson Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
