Route Advice From Shrewsbury PA to Skyline Dr.

I posted over in the regional forums but realized I should have posted here.

We will be staying at friends house and wanted some advice for some good backroads getting me to the start of Skyline Drive. My rough idea is taking 616/216/516/86 to 30 then onto 27. Then follow 26 to 340 to the start of Skyline. Are these roads good or do you recommend anything else?
