Share your cool Android apps.
I'll start with the Dolphin HD browser as the best browser out there.
I really like the GO Launcher EX, very flexible with the customizable toolbar and the ability to landscape your desktop. GO contacts and dialer are awesome too. Chomp SMS for texting. Mini Info widget for system/memory/battery status. Beautiful Widgets for clock/weather. Please pass on your favorite Android apps..

Dolphin and Go Launcher are sweet. The only other apps I use with any frequency are:
Cardio Trainer Pandora Flashlight Oh, and Barcodescanner |

I like the Opera browser but might need to try Dolphin if it's better.

I used Opera when I had my Blackberry and when I first had my Android, but I'm now sold on Dolphin.
Scanner Radio: Streams police/fire/air/railroad radio traffic. Unit Converter: Because I won't let the metric system keep ME down. Abacus: So if there's any question, I can easily prove I'm a dork. Timeriffic: Schedules ringer/notification volume.

Haven't messed with Dolphin yet, but like scanner and unit converter. Ever been somewhere and wondered WTF were all those cops doing? It's happened enough times for me to want to keep that app around.

GF just picked up an iPhone so I got in to the app bug again, here's a couple new ones...
myfitnesspal ~ tracks your weight, daily exercise & caloric intake, has every food already programed in that I've eaten the past few days key ring ~ mentioned before, has all my "club" membership barcodes stored shopsavvy ~ scan barcodes for local and online prices of items, doesn't have all the local stores but enough to know if you're being raked over the coals box ~ cloud storage and 50GB for life free if you sign up now dealdrop ~ in case I want to quickly scan all the deal sites for more gear stretch exercises ~ self explanatory, separated both shoulders and have tight quads so I check one out if I'm stuck at the computer all day shazam ~ a must if you listen to the radio or xm and want to remember a song to download later gasbuddy ~ surrounding area gas station prices, especially handy while traveling

My Tracks is great for tracking time, distance, speed, etc. if you're a runner or a biker. It even tracks heart rate if you pair it up with a Bluetooth sensor.

Just got a smart phone last week. For the most part it makes me feel dumb.
I have managed to find an app or two that are pretty damned cool, however. AudioTool might not be for everyone, but I run sound for bands, install sound systems in churches, schools, etc., and am a pro audio guy by trade. Really useful app for me. https://sites.google.com/site/bofinit/ Ultrachron Lite. I can't live without a stopwatch and countdown timer, especially in the kitchen and at the grill. http://www.appbrain.com/app/ultrachr...gstopwatchlite

Yeah, I'm new to smartphones too...unless tinkering with my wife's slow-assed Blackberry counts for anything.
I've yet to use many apps, but have loaded a couple dozen! For the past year, there have been numerous times where I would have killed for a smartphone, to look something up while I'm out and about or to kill time when I'm bored. Now that I finally have one, I haven't needed it or had time to enjoy it!!!!

Craigs notify. Scans all the local (ish) craigslist for keywords and price parameters and let's me know when something gets posted.
