Classic Klotz oil? Where to get and which one

I have smelled the classic smell of some NOS Klotz oil burning, and Im curious which formulation is availble today which still carries the distinctive sweet smell the old stuff does, and where to get it.

my local dealer stocks Klotz. not sure which weight you would want i.e. 15/30 20/50....Lots of guys around here (northwest) like Dumonde tech. i personally want to get the stuff that smells like strawberries.....

but currently Im using Motul full synthetic....i run it at 100:1 in my gas gas trials bike...40:1 in my vintage stuff...

RE:Klotz

The tech people at Klotz were very helpful ,as I had the same interests.....To make a long story short, yes, there's still the aromatic blend available, however,I was told that storing it (rather than using it up shortly after mixing) will create problems due to product separation and moisture attraction. They offer other blends that have some of the aromatic
qualities, but also other additives to allow storage without the above mentioned probs.....I use their TC-W2 in this :

Klotz R 50

Nah, he's referring to classic smells like that of Klotz R 50. I bought and used that stuff by the 4gl. case when I rode 2 strokes. Ahh, I love that smell. Started using it back in the early eighties. Don't know how long it's been around. It can be used for a 50w 4 stroke engine oil also.

I would say give their tech guys a call. Klotz is about 15 minutes from my house and I have stopped in and asked questions and picked up oil, nice people. I run their Ester-based oils in my 2 strokes, smells pretty damn good. Is this what your looking for:

Klotz Oil

The only thing I have ever won in a drawing was a case of Klotz 2 cycle oil, around 70 or 71. Burned it for years in snowmobiles and 2 stroke bikes, like other I loved the smell.
