Fuel Line Quick Disconnect

I need to replace the fuel line quick disconnect on my 990A.

Has anyone found a better and less expensive set.
A stronger set than the stock plastic ones would be good.
What's the hose I.D. ?

Thank,s Max

Mine broke last summer, I couldn't believe what KTM wants for a replacement! And they charge for each end, both male and female.

So I ordered mine from Justgastanks.com after I couldn't source one locally, the same damn thing (only white) at half the cost.

I'm pretty sure this is the one I got and you want: 5/16" with dual shut-offs (but double check the hose size, I'm just going from memory):

Same damn thing, down to the factory markings.

I'm gonna throw a coupler in with my Mcmasters order, but I'm confused about the size. The stamp on the hose and the the online coupler sizes are screwing with me. Some one chime in please?

My guess is 1/4" coupler with 7/16" OD for a 5/16" tube ID. Yes-no??

Got mine from an online speed shop (Jegs, Summit, or one of those).

Hmmm, call me a nervous-nelly, but in the description of these it doesn't mention fuel...

A little more digging yielded these, which say they are "automotive couplings":

That push button one is pretty slick. what do ya think?

I probably shouldn't have put anything Beemer related in here anyway. Thanks.
