Trucking bikes from Washington to Alaska, what to see?

Wife and I are going to drive through and in no hurry with a couple dual sports in the trunk. Truck, bikes and humans are all pretty rugged, wheres the best places to camp? Sites to see? Where to see wildlife? Great fishing? Great food? Best rides? Off road? Single track? Forest roads? Scenic rides?
Thanks for any input. Happy trails.
Sean

Take 37 on your run north, not 97 from PG. Has just what you're looking for.

Chilcotin is great too (west of Williams Lake).

Detour a bit east, and NW of Kamloops you can ride and fish for weeks. My old stomping grounds.

When are you planning on going, and how much time do you have?

Take the Cassiar for sure. Do a search for Telegraph Creek and Glenora, it's a cool detour out of Dease Lake.

There old abandoned mining town of Cassiar is worth a jaunt if you have the time.

Lots of places on the way to pull off and camp, but you need to camp bear-safe north of Vancouver.

It's out of your way, but the road out to Bella Coola and wandering around the Chilcotin is amazing, you can take back roads up north instead of 97 if you have time.

Don't forget the Duffy Lake Road out of Whistler BC instead of the highway, much more scenic.
