Replacing airbox with cone filers and block off plate - what to do with breathers?
I am slowly building my cafe bike from a 1978 R100RS and have bought K&N cone filters for direct fitting to the carbs and a block off plate to replace the air box. (see link)
The two hoses that entered the airbox from the top/front (cc breathers?) will not work with this plate.
What options do I have - can i just remove the entire 3 hose assembly and if so do I need to replace it with anything?

You could rout it to a catch can or run a hose along your rear fender like Triumph did. If you clean your bike a lot, then a little filter attached near the breather could work as well. This pic wasn't intended to show the breather when shot, but the hose goes from an R65 breather cover and into the Boddingtons can.
Never underestimate the laxative properties of motorcycling.
