Here's a 200 mile loop I enjoyed last October. Had lunch in Hot Springs at Iron Horse Station. Take 251 north of Asheville by the river to Hot Springs. 209 south out of Hot Springs through Trust and Luck. Work your way down to 215 and on down to the Blue Ridge Parkway. North on BRP to 74. You may want to do it in a clockwise loop depending on what time you want to be in Hot Springs.

One of the counties near Asheville is promoting itself as a motorcycle riding destination and has published a guide to scenic rides in the region with turn by turn directions.

Just roll
Just pick a two lane and roll! Great roads that will lead you to a great time ... Might even find some dirt and gravel while exploring. Oh ya, look at the local ride section there are lots of post giving you ideas for roads.

If you're gonna be there on a Wednesday, run up to the Wedge Brewery, you'll know you're there by all the dual sports and adventure bikes parked out front. I guarantee someone will buy you a beer, prolly a pitcher. Enjoy!
