Some funny video's of me eating shit...

Not really "face plant" worthy but funny none the less, figured some of you guys would get a laugh out of it.

Hammer run last year:

Hammer Run crashes and a close call from Chris Shafer on Vimeo.

Supermoto in the rain on slicks, didn't have any wheels with rain tires mounted. Skip to about 3:40. It looks like I just ran off the road but both tires started hydroplanning and the bike just pushed right on out...

.....

Ok, so how did you eat that tree at speed and get up cheering?

I would have peeled the bark off with the string of invectives.

Any crash you can walk away from is a cause for celebration. This attitude comes from doing it allot...

Ah, Summit point in the rain... I went about a year ago to play with the karts and we got some rain. In the wet, even with 4 wheels I didn't manage so well.

Yeah that track is slick as balls normally when wet with dunlop slicks on. It's sketchy, teaches allot about throttle control and brake feel though.

I dunno about that, but so far it's worked out on the moto... Skiing on the other hand what's a few ligaments between me and the mountain.

Had a similiar altercation with a tree in SW Colorado.

Nothing better than that final thought of "Shit Treeeeeeee"

I didn't even think that. thought I had it, until...tree.

I Jersey some of the trees are so poorly rooted you can hit them and they fall over, not saying I thought that about this one, but it was funny as shit one time when I crashed into a little pine tree and it fell over. It was gratifying.
