Help me identify this 1150 Y pipe
I am looking for some help in identifying this Y pipe for a 1150. It came off an 1150 R and I recieved it from a friend then I sold it to a guy who is installing it on a 1150 GS. He is having trouble installing it on his bike. It is apparentley not lining up correctly onto his rear pipe.
Everything that I see for sale indicates that the same Y pipe is good for a 1150 GS/ R/ Adv Some examples= http://www.wunderlichamerica.com/mot...107087799.html http://www.beemerboneyard.com/boxrcpypip.html Same # on Remus website/ etc..... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. ![]() ![]() Any ideas?

Hey Daniel, thanks for posting! Yes, I'm the inmate who purchased this and need to put it on my 2001R1150GS. The front fits fine but the rear exit for the muffler puts the stock one ~2.5" back. I'm planning on going with an aftermarket can anyway and many of those just have a band that slips over so I don't think it would be an issue but I want to get the correct can if possible.

There is a choice of low and high pipe, that may be the difference.
With the Y pipe the stock can mounts rarely seem to match up.

Yey Daniel, Not yet, though it looks like I can just run an aftermarket can since the band mounts on those are infinitely adjustable along the can.
Sitill would like to know exactly who makes this, anyone??!
