Ricks and Electrosports stators, any reviews?

Thinking of getting as spare, any reviews of the Ricks and Electrosports stators on the 8GS? Do they last?

Several guys I know are using the Ricks version, but don't have enough miles on them yet to really have any feedback. The Electrosport unit AFAIK has not yet hit the streets yet, but should be available soon.

I fed details on our problem to the design team and Electrosport and they are working on a design that they believe will help address the overheating issue (better grade of wire, changes to winding pattern etc). The design has completed their internal test cycle successfully and they are procuring the first production batch....
I just sent an e-mail to my contact asking for a status update, as we have not talked for a month or so...

I will post details when he replies...

Prototype testing is still underway.
Preliminary results look good, but testing is not yet complete.
Probably another month or perhaps more depending on how the testing goes.
