***RESOLVED, EVERYONE IS OK***SOS from my husband's SPOT

My husband is in Baja Mexico (Baja Ho) with 3 other friends who I cannot reach. I have been receiving SOS messages since 6PM and phone calls saying they are requesting help from search and rescue here in Mexico. San Quintin says they do not have the man power to look for him. At 2PM this afternoon he sent me a message from the same coordinates saying he was OK. He left for Baja 2 days ago with 3 other guys. I am in Cabo and flying back to California tomorrow. I need help!

The location is west of the volcano at San Quintin Bay. I would call "The Old Mill" to see if he was staying there tonight since that is very close to his last location. There are usually off roaders staying at the Old Mill that might be able to check on your husband's well being. Hope this helps you out........

If you need help , be more specific about your husband name, what kind of bike he is riding, how many people are in the group.

In this way I'll be able to make a call to the Hotel in San Quintin or send them the spot location.

If help is still needed, I recommend posting this in the West Regional Forum (or maybe the mods could move it there). There will be many from the California area either in Baja now, or traveling down over the next few days in support of the Baja race.

Here is all the information I get from the SPOT device location page. He basically has not moved since 8AM yesterday when he sent an OK message and and 10 hours later these messages are 911/SOS. My husband would not hit this button unless he wanted a helicopter sent out. He's in excellent health, are his friends? I don't know. Did they get separated? I don't know. They sleep in hotels. Why an 8AM check in? Unusual. Been on the phone with SPOT they are trying again to get someone out this morning to take a look, but can't promise anything. This is Mexico.
