Phx borrow a /6 or 7?

Does anyone have a NOT pristine BMW /6 or /7 they'd be willing to loan us for a short spell? We want to start building panniers for this model, but don't have one to do mockups. We're in Glendale, AZ and would pickup and drop it back off within a reasonalbe distance. Thanks.

Give Dillon at Zen Motostore (480.600.2978) a call. I think he has one.

It's not pristine. Don't tell him I said that.

Hi Charlie
Hiya Neil. I didn't recognize you. Of course you know about that BMW.

Let's go for a ride sometime.

Jesse Bags R69s /2

Howdy, I've a tired R69s, /2 series. Would you like to work on this for fitting your panniers? The classic craven bags are difficult to come by.

Peace, Peter

Hola Peter, Thanks for the offer, but /2 panniers aren't on the production schedule. There just hasn't been much call for them. Is the bike for sale?

Hi Jesse. The bike is not for sale, but will be restored to health this spring. It was a gift from my elderly father, that had been sitting in his Vermont barn for many years. A true barn find! Good luck on your search.

Peace, Peter

Probably not much. Two round trips to pickup and bringback would be around 5000 miles, so thanks, but I think we'll pass on this borrow.
