OK, ordered my first set of MetroRacing

I haven't found a review off MetroRacing.com, so I thought I would put up my own. Made my order last night, as a christmas present to me. If I dig it, i'll pass the word on to my buddy's wife, who is just as anxious as I am.

OK, so the gear looks great!
It doesn't seem so rugged though. Would like to have a tough set, cause we ride tough. Seems like a standard cotton shirt, so not a lot of strength there.
Pants are made of a tougher nylon. Should last a season, or two if you take it easy. The lettering is not real leather, its Nagahide. No pads come with the set, so you have to relay on your gear. The company did install some velcro strips if you have hip pads, but thats all they did. The pants also have a liner to keep the pants from sticking to you. Some breathablity. Company name also across you legs, in Nagahide.

I would have liked to see some more safety concern or anticipation from the manufacture. So they get bad marks for safety.
The gear real shines when it comes to real vintage gear, great colors, real feel... Good marks for authenticity.
The materials are not so tough. As similar to the real vintage gear as it is, I am still focused on riding safely. More bad marks.

Ultimately I am not totally happy about my investment. I am looking into adding pads myself, because I do care for my safety. Would give a better rating for better gear.
