Virgin GSPD needs mods
My '94 GSPD just turned 45K trouble free miles. She is bone stock, down to the brake shoes. Please help me prioritize the necessary mods. This bike is a keeper.
Thanks, Guys..

Chastity Belt!
If it has worked well thus far, don't spoil that "bone stock" condition. It will only appreciate! Otherwise, if a mod is absolutely necessary, then modify the title to include,....ME!

I'm in the leave it alone camp. If it's worked for all these years, and you can't think of anything specific it needs, don't mess with it!
You know what they say; if it ain't broke.... |

Modding a GSPD? The first thing I would do to it is take off about 40lb's of PD crap. Easier to work on AND lighter. It makes all the difference in the world.

Of all the things I've done so far to my GSPD, there's only one I think is an absolute no-brainer: enduralast alternator.

First thing you must do is to turn it into a cafe racer.
![]() Second thing is to purchase a "Red Centre" ignition system from Australia.

Do the normal maintenance and leave it alone. As they say If it's not broke don't fix it.
