New 990R
After reading all your post over the last few months, I had to find out why these bikes are so popular, so I work a deal for a brand new 990R and picked it up yesturday. I rode a freinds 950SE a couple times so I kind of knew what I was in for. Just before I signed on the dotted line; I took it on a 5 mile ride.
This thing ripps! I'm still speachless.Signed the paper work and trucked it 3 hrs home as it 42 degrees and raining. Currently working on a farkel list. if you have any wisdom, please share.

Just picked up my new 990R less than a week a go. Added bags, crash bars, and fastway pegs. Almost knocked off 500 miles already. Can't wait to do some real riding on it. Thing is a beast.

New 90 R/Farkles
Where'd you get it? I just picked up a 990 Adventure for similar reasons. I've been a lurker for several years but now have jumped into the fray. I'm looking to farkle mine up as well. I lived in Olympia for many years and now live in Portland. Cheers

I bought it from Powersports in Sublimity Oregon. Traded in my 06 640A. paid $13,499 and they gave me $6k for my 640. I couldn't say no to that deal.
