I don't know anything about vintage motocross bikes, but not surprisingly there's an obvious odour to this one.

With a BIN price of $250K it's a real toss-up between the RH75 250 and the Brough SS100.

If, as the seller claims it can be loaned out for $8k a month, why would you sell it?

I reported that listing to eBay as fraudulent - apparently they either didn't care or disagreed. That bike is a mash of a '75 RM and probably a TM400. Almost everything is wrong about the bike for it to be an actualy RH.
The Brough, on the other hand, is wonderful.

Its not a 75,its at least a 76 RM. Somebody grafted a low pipe on it but it looks like a worn out stock RM to me. Suzuki didnt use steel swingarms on works bikes or stock forks/wheels. Every part I can recognize on it is bone stock production stuff but for the pipe. The factory was using all high pipes by 76.
For 25,000.00 a guy can probably get an already restored factory bike of some sort, this one isnt factory and needs complete restoration to boot. Id like to see somebody have to actually cough up 25 grand for that thing. More ebay scamming/bidding by friends. (No prior inspection of bike in person for privacy reasons,on a 250,000 bike, wonder why?)

The only detail that catches my eye is the tank and Suzuki font. When compared to the stockers, the works bikes of this era did have the font in a slightly lower position on the side of the tank...the font was also slightly larger. This matches a works tank.
So, it MIGHT have a works tank. But it also might simply be a repainted stocker. In any case, there are still far too many production parts on this model. And the fact that he won't let anyone see it in advance smells of rat's play. But for fun, you should read through the question and answer session on the listing! Good banter.
