2007 fuel strip elimination
Has anyone tried to eliminate the fuel gauge strip permanently? I tried the meggar repair with no success. I rest the trip meter after fill up and don't need the gauge but would love to eliminate the fuel and orange triangle warnings.Has any one done this with any success?

Just ignore it. You get used to it easy enough.

If someone with a good strip would measure the resistance on theirs, you might be able to replicate it with a resistor. It would ready full all the time, but no light.
