WHACO 2013 return to Jamaica

Time to start thinking spring rally season

WHACO 2013 Friday May 17th - Monday May 20th

As in the past WHACO will coincide with Whitehorse Gear's open house on Saturday May 18th for those who choose to attend.

As in years past I will arrange for camping at the Saco River Camping area for Friday night. (last year the fee was $7 a person so it should be near that this year) We can pass the hat for firewood as needed.

Then for Saturday and Sunday nights I plan to return to Jamaica State Park for a couple of days of exploring. (I will look into what the cost will be for this, as I recall it was pretty minimal) Again we can pass the hat for fire wood each evening.

Jamaica is right in the heart of Guymanbro's neighborhood so I am sure he can help everyone with routes and such. Also remember that there are not a lot of places to eat or get provisions in the area. Hopefully the market in town is still there and open.

Now for the important stuff. This is yet another no frills rally. If you want it you better bring it the only thing we are arranging is a place to camp at night and a group fire pit to relax around. There will be no organized rides! Myself and others will help with routes and route suggestions but I am sorry I am not into large group style riding. I do however love to get together at night to enjoy a little camaraderie around a fire . Folks are welcome to join us for any or all of the days. I plan to be in North Conway by early afternoon on Friday to enjoy some of the local riding. and I plan on staying in VTtill late morning on Monday.

More information and an in list to follow..

A big thanks to Beez for designing this years sticker

Couldn't seem to get much feed back... And I liked the Jamaica region. Still a lot of good riding in that corner of the world

The feedback was "just do it!"
... but that means you get left alone to "do it" because it is your show.

Almost anywhere in VT is cool with me. I'm in.

My bike is even ready.

I'll be the first one-nighter to chime in...

In for Friday night, the open house and some out-n-back riding on Saturday.

this ride sucks, the people are just mean, but the free lunch at Whitehorse is worth what you pay for it.

I'm in.
