Everyone needs to go to this event at least once. You will NEVER see so many Rednecks and Bubbas from all over the country in one place at one time ever again. It is Freek'n HUGE.

Very few Flat Biller "Bros" at KOH. "Good 'Ole Boys" abound. Thousands of Yeeps following each other around in conga lines from canyon to canyon at a blazing 10mph. Lots of garage built "crawlers" built by spectators. I think Burning Man is a pretty good comparison.

The comment about the comet is pretty uncalled for. I can't go this year, but I've been for the last 2 years. Last year I went with my son who at the time was a fabricator for Gen-Right, one of the main sponsors. It is a VERY entertaining event on a number of levels.

As far as 150k race cars and brilliance, the jury is still out on that one.

KOH is pretty awesome. The Ultra 4 cars are amazingly over the top. I didn't meet a single unhappy person the whole time I was there.

Perhaps you missed the entire King of the Motos tread??? If so then you missed that King of the Hammers is the birthplace of the King of the Motos. With both being run out of the same "Hammer Town" by the same org. back to back, in my not so humble opinion, I would say that there is a connection.

Don't forget you are very welcome to not read threads that you feel may not match your tastes or interests.
