Slavens Racing Skid Plate

Has anyone purchased the orange Slavens Racing skid plate for their 990?

I was interested in how the plate holds up and if you have any pictures of it on your bike.

Thanks!

Don't have any pictures but I have had one now on my 950 for 2 years and it has held up well (Colorado) Easier to install than the stock, highly recommended.

I only see the brushed aluminum option?

Easy access to the battery, fuel pump, and engine oil drain plugs by utilizing the pivot/tilting design.
Unlike painted/powder coated skid plates that become less attractive over time due to chips and scratches, the brushed aluminum finish of the Slavens 950/990 skid retains it’s classic good looks.

Yes, they did stop offering the colors. I asked when I ordered mine from them. Flatland Racing makes the plate. I have one & think it is the best value out there and cheaper when you order it from Slavens then Flatland.

Just got home with my "new to me" 950 ADV-S and will be purchasing my plate asap. I plan for this bike to take me all over the Rockies and need this plate.
