RIDE FOR PEACE Adventure : Solo Ride till the Edge of the World

***
Armed with R1150GSA
and few English words,
I started my solo ride from Jakarta
on April 23rd, 2006.

So far, been wandered 93 countries in the Asia, North Africa,
Europe, North America, Central, South America and still on going...

Never thought that I've been visited so
many countries where previously I could only dream.
Places I could only see on pictures or television.
Being a witness of amazing cultural differences are
an unforgettable lifetime experiences.

I am not a priest who will spread the message of peace.
Just an ordinary person who love nature, riding and adventure
I dedicated this journey to worldwide peace
and not affiliated with any discriminating factor

I hope you enjoying the pictures of this thread.
Some information may be usefull for someone
but useless to the others...

My regards to all my friends I’ve met or never meet along the journey,
thanks for all support, attention, idea and information you’ve given.

Wish you have a great adventure
and
see you somewhere in this planet...

Jeffrey Polnaja

The Khyber Pass

is a mountain pass connecting Afghanistan and Pakistan,
cutting through the northeastern part of the Spin Ghar mountains.
An integral part of the ancient Silk Road,
it is one of the oldest known passes in the world.
Throughout history it has been an important trade route
between Central Asia and South Asia and a strategic military location.
The summit of the pass is 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) inside Pakistan
at Landi Kotal (wikipedia)

The area controled by Warlords
