New R1200GSW Incoming!

Putting money down on a 2013 R1200GSW on Tuesday at The Motorcycle Shop in Anchorage! Thunder Gray Metallic, fully loaded (even the fancy LED headlight). As far as I know, should be one of the first, if not the first fully loaded model in the state. Should be here before the end of the month!

Demo model will probably be rideable at the shop within the next couple of weeks for those that are on the fence!

Thanks! Now for some Touratech and Dainese Shopping... Haven't decided whether to go with the BMW Rallye or Dainese Stradon Jacket yet, but my Rallye 2 is well overdue for an upgrade.

Congratulations - you'll get many miles of smiles on that beast.

I saw some pretty sharp looking Kilimanjaros upstairs. Great jacket for the conditions here.

It's finally here! I got to take my new baby home today and finally got to play with all of the modes and settings. I've ridden a demo model that is pretty bare bones off and on, and I'm really liking the riding modes, ASC, etc.

Foklift man bringing her in!

Being BMW the front wheel cost extra so as a broke college student I decided to opt out. Should be fine without though, right?

Home in the garage. That LED is spiffy! I might have to get the LED Auxiliaries to compliment it...

Sorry to divert your "new-bike-thread"... Is that oem LED headlamp assembly available as retro-fit to the F8 ?
