yooperbikemike is snoozing, so ...

It's easy to say a win at Mugello will be crucial to Lorenzo (given the way Pedrosa was looking really shaky just two rounds in, and two rounds after that started looking like the favorite again). But after Lorenzo's poor race at Le Mans, Mugello might well show whether he will be able to slow or stop the gap to the factory Hondas. If the track is cool (unlike Jerez, where the heat supposedly took away the M1 edge-grip advantage), and Lorenzo doesn't finish strongly, I imagine there's going to be a sense of doom in the Yamaha team.

It's going to rain, on Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Sunday, not so sure. This could end up saving Yamaha, as I think otherwise, they could get spanked by Honda. Badly.

I can only hope if it does rain it's as good a race as Le Mans -- there was a lot of passing there for a wet race. And for the championship's sake, that Lorenzo takes it.

Mugello is one of the greatest tracks, a delight to watch even on the telly. Right there with Phillip Island and Laguna Seca. I went to Mugello in 2006, seeing that place live, its even better.

Yamaha must be worried, Lorenzo needs to bounce back quickly, but Honda seem to have the momentum now. And on the other side of that garage, Rossi must be worried, that if he gets his behind handed to him by his team-mate here, its gonna happen everywhere. 4 out of 4 rounds already, not looking good for him.

In fact the route through the western alps was aborted due to the weather, and had to face the prospect of being gassed in a bloody tunnel!

Still, the scooter GP goes on. And I love it!

Yeah, he's not going to win the championship but he's kinda have a record of this so called racing incidents. Vale ended knock-out, how longs going to take until AB severely injures someone? They could have fined him, threatened to ban him off the season, etc. So he starts thinking, looking, hearing before moving... he's not conscious that he caused the crash, he was blaming Vale about it... that's what I meant with my srsly.

Got it. I wish it didn't happen not because I am a Rossi fanboy, shit, i am and i wanted to see him race the guys at the front. A win or a podium would have been great.

On another note, was Cal's brolly girl his wife? She was the best looking umbrella girl of all time.

On yet another note, I think Hector has the same IQ as a bag of rocks. Still with a scar on his eye and fresh from charges of hitting his girlfriend, he makes a punching gesture at the camera, like he is tough.

The way Marquez lost it was strange to me, but then, what do I know?

Just seemed like a harmless mild turn. Any chance there was a mechanical failure?

Marquez couldn't understand it either. Without pointing the finger at Bridgestone, he said he went through that corner at the same speed and lean angle as before, yet he suddenly lost both wheels. That is code for "WTF is up with these tires?"

Spies mentioned in the commentary that the track was warmer then anybody had experience with all weekend. He said that would maybe be a factor. I'm thinking it was in Marquez's case.
